Kettle orders recall of potato chips over contamination

  • Snack Brands Australia has recalled Kettle chips from stores in NSW and Victoria
  • Affected flavours are Sea Salt and Rosemary and Sea Salt and shouldn’t be eaten
  • They have been recalled as they may potentially contain pieces of white rubber
  • Customers can return the recalled chips to the place of purchase for a full refund

Suspect packets of Kettle chips have been recalled over fears there could be pieces of rubber inside. 

The recalled chips, on sale at Coles and Woolworths stores in New South Wales and Victoria, have been taken off shelves as they may contain pieces of white rubber.

Affected products are Kettle Sea Salt 175g and 300g packets, and Kettle Rosemary and Sea Salt 175g packets.

Snack Brands Australia have warned customers not to eat the recalled chips, which have a best before date of November 11.

The NSW Food Authority published the recall on Thursday, and say anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

Customers who bought the recalled items can return them at the place of purchase for a full refund.
