Kevin Dillon’s Tesla abruptly stops ‘mid-carwash’ resulting in a fender bender with three cars behind him

Entourage star Kevin Dillon was reportedly involved in a multi-vehicle accident at a drive-thru car wash in Los Angeles, California last Monday.

While taking his Tesla to get cleaned, the 58-year-old actor’s electric vehicle made an abrupt stop that authorities told TMZ ’caused a rear-end ripple effect’ for those behind him.

A source revealed that ‘this sparked a fender bender with the three cars behind him.’

Although cars are typically left in neutral while going through the carwash, the outlet alleged that Dillon’s was not, after he ‘accidentally lifted up from his seat.’

The move apparently ‘triggered’ his brakes and brought his car ‘to an unexpected halt.’

Despite causing ‘minimal’ damage, an insider revealed that ‘at least one person complained of discomfort, so law enforcement was called to take an accident report.’

Dillon is best known for portraying Johnny ‘Drama’ Chase on HBO’s hit series Entourage for eight seasons between 2004 to 2011, alongside Adrian Grenier, (Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven).

The role earned him nominations for three Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.

The father-of-two, most recently, reprised his role as Johnny Chase in the series’ film adaptation, Entourage, in 2015.

Additionally, he is known for appearing in the films Platoon (1986) and the musical biopic The Doors (1991).

In 2020, he and Entourage creator, Doug Ellin, launched the Victory the Podcast.

In the episodes, the pair hosted deep-dive discussions about episodes of Entourage, shared behind-the-scenes stories about the show and spoke of their own Hollywood experiences.

While the pair have not uploaded a new episode since September, they previously welcomed a number of special guests on their show from Charlie Sheen to Eric Roberts.

Last year, Dillon encouraged his Instagram followers that wanted a reboot to ‘tell more people to follow’ his podcast, its Instagram and YouTube channel.

‘Hollywood is a tough place and the fact that people still talk about our show 20 years after we started is a blessing,’ he wrote in May 2023. ‘And if a reboot happened that would be amazing.’

He said following the Victory the Podcast’s social media accounts would be ‘the best hope.’

Regardless if the podcast helps revive Entourage, he noted that he was ‘having fun’ and hoping to do ‘shows in Australia soon.’

‘Be happy everyone. Most important thing in life,’ he told fans.
