The long journey of Keyontae Johnson continues after he was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder following a long college career.
More than two years ago, Johnson collapsed on the court during a game in December 2020.
Johnson played for Florida for the time, and after this incident, he was diagnosed with a heart condition and was told he might never play again.
He transferred to Kansas State and spent the 2022-23 season there once he was cleared to play.
He spent time at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in a medically induced coma for three days before going back to Gainesville.

Johnson, who turned 23 in May, posted his best collegiate season in 2022-23, with averages of 17.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in 36 starts.
He and teammate Markquis Nowell guided the Wildcats to the Elite Eight.
In May, Johnson was cleared to play in the NBA by the league’s Fitness to Play panel – which allowed him to work out for NBA teams.
Johnson interviewed with teams at the NBA draft combine in Chicago last week.
