Kezie Apps Rugby League Bodene Thompson stop ruining sport

A female footy star has slammed the ‘toxic’ boys’ club culture in rugby league after an ex-stripper revealed sordid details about group sex sessions within the sport.

Lingerie model and former X-rated stripper Belinda Medlyn revealed on Tuesday she fell pregnant to NRL star Bodene Thompson after regularly having unprotected sex with him and groups of his teammates.

One day after details of the group sex sessions emerged, Jillaroo star Kezie Apps, 26, warned the men to ‘stop ruining it for everyone’.

‘There are people who would do anything to be in that position and some of the people in that position wreck it for everyone else. I hate it,’ she told the Herald Sun.

She said it was insulting that professional male players degraded the sport while female players were not yet given the option to play professionally.

‘The women are busting our ar*** trying to get to that level, and yes, (male players) work hard and train hard, but they do something like that and it wrecks it for everyone in rugby league,’ she said.

Apps said some male players took their position for granted.

‘If we were given that opportunity, we wouldn’t do anything like that.’

Apps, who won the prestigious Dally M Award Female Player of the Year in 2016, works part-time to support her rugby league career.

Apps said the female side would massively improve if she and her female teammates were paid to play professionally.

She said it was time female players stopped being mistaken for ‘WAGS’ (wives and girlfriends) and started being recognised as players.
