As people begin to drag out the tinsel and lights for another Christmas season, one fast food franchise is putting their own stamp on festivities.
KFC New Zealand has brought out its own range of fried-chicken themed decorations to help spice up your tree this year.
The ‘finger-lickin good’ ornaments come in five different shapes and sizes, including a drumstick, bucket of chicken and Colonel Sanders himself.

‘We’ve always thought the colonel was Santa anyway. #KFChristmas is in the air, who’s ready to get the tree decorations out?’ the message read.
KFC marketing director Clark Wilson told Nine Honey: ‘We’re now making Christmas wishes come true for fans with this exclusive range of #KFChristmas decorations.’

While many fans heralded the introduction of the decorations, with one person saying they would be perfect for their husband, others were less than impressed.
‘KFC have started doing Christmas decorations and sometimes I really question our generation,’ one Twitter user wrote.
While another added: ‘So in NZ you can buy KFC Christmas tree decorations. Un******believable.’
It forms part of the latest marketing scheme by the fast food giant, which has preciously released KFC scented candles and bath bombs.
While last month, praise was heaped upon those running the company’s social media account, after a genius stunt was employed.
Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the chain’s official twitter had followed just 11 people – six men named Herb and all five Spice Girls – representing their secret seasoning recipe.
