Khloe Kardashian says she sometimes is ‘not in the mood’ to work out

Khloe Kardashian showed off her toned physique and a sneak peek of her workout routine in her latest social media post on Wednesday.

In a newly shared video on Instagram, the 38-year-old reality TV star modeled a black sports bra and tight-fitting leggings as she exercised during early morning hours in her home gym.

The media personality candidly revealed that she was feeling a lack of motivation but felt ‘so good’ and accomplished at the end of her workout.

The Good American founder also detailed her lengthy workout routine in the caption of her post and revealed how she trains to maintain her hourglass figure.

During the clip, her four-year-old daughter True — one of two children she shares with her ex, Tristan Thompson, 32, who recently moved down the street from her — also made an adorable guest appearance.

For her workout, Khloe donned an all-black workout ensemble paired with tall, white socks and sneakers.

She left her glossy, blonde tresses down for a majority of the video but later clipped up her hair. 

In the video and complementary caption, the entrepreneur went through every step of her workout — from warming up to weightlifting — with a trainer.

She also spoke about how she did not feel particularly motivated to do morning exercises on that day but pushes through in order to ‘start [her] day the right way’.

‘Trying to get up the energy to work out,’ Khloe said at the beginning of the video. ‘I’m just not in the mood, but let’s get to it.’ 

For a little bit of encouragement, her eldest child also stopped by to visit her and also expressed her excitement for spring break.

In a cute segment, True showed off her pretty braid to the camera and shared that she will be taking two weeks off when school goes on recess.

Then, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star revealed she is unable to bring her daughter to school herself because of work starting early.

After that, she quickly begins her routine by stretching and warming up.

She also revealed in her caption that due to a recent injury, she has been using lighter weights.

‘I recently had an elbow injury, so my weights are lower than I typically would use,’ she said. ‘And it’s a much lower impact workout than we typically do, but this is the pace until my elbow is back to normal.’

At the end of the clip, Khloe also gave a quick update on her fading scar from a skin cancer scare and having a tumor removed in October.

She pointed out that there is a slight ‘curvature’ on her cheek but her scar has slowly been disappearing and will smooth out over time. 

She then talked about how much better she felt after going through her routine.

‘I never regret getting a workout in,’ she said. ‘If I [don’t] try to procrastinate [or] whatever, I always feel so good and accomplished and bad*ss.

‘And then I feel like the rest of my day is great,’ she added. ‘I stay more on track because I started my day the right way.’

The mother-of-two then continued to encourage her fans to stay consistent and motivate each other.

‘Whoever works out at any time, I’m f***ing proud of you,’ she continued. 

‘It’s hard. It’s hard to stay dedicated, and the consistency is the hard part. And I am right here with you guys. We got to be in this together,’ she said. ‘Let’s motivate one another.’
