KIIS FM host Kyle Sandilands slams Delta Goodrem’s new song as ‘rubbish’ and says it ‘went nowhere’
Kyle Sandilands is clearly not a fan of Delta Goodrem’s latest single, The Power.
The KIIS FM radio host made his feelings known when his co-host Jackie O’ Henderson played a snippet of the singer’s divisive performance of the song at the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday.
While Jackie said she ‘kind of liked it,’ Kyle scoffed at the tune and asserted that it ‘went nowhere’.

‘I don’t like it,’ the shock jock said. ‘By the way, some singers, no one wants to hear your stories constantly. How about just a song that’s catchy?’
Jackie began to quiz Kyle by what he meant by that statement.
‘(A) lot of singers that write their own songs, they think we care about their stories or what their feelings are. We don’t,’ he said.
