She continued: ‘For anyone who doesn’t know my law school journey, know this wasn’t easy or handed to me.

‘I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!! (I did have COVID on the 3rd try w a 104 fever but I’m not making excuses [winking eye emoji])’

The First-Year Law Students’ Examination (FYLSX) AKA ‘baby bar’ is a one-day test given remotely in June and October.

Passing the State Bar of California is arguably the toughest in the nation as Kim explained that since she did not complete her first year of law study in a juris doctor degree program at a State Bar-unaccredited registered law school she had to take this first exam ‘with a harder pass rate.’

As this is not the traditional path, Kim said that she had encountered a lot of doubters but was more than happy to prove them wrong as she said: ‘I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals.’

She went on to thank many people who have helped her in her journey including friend and Emmy winning host and contributor for CNN and former special advisor to President Barack Obama, Van Jones, ‘who talked me into going to law school in the first place’.

Jones introduced her to Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, who are both heads at criminal justice reform organizations Cut 50 and REFORM Alliance, for bringing her along in the courtroom as they have been with her from the very beginning.

Of her relationship with the duo she wrote: ‘I respect them so much and appreciate you both for letting me tag along and ask all of the little questions along the way.’

Kim began a four-year apprenticeship at a law firm in San Francisco in 2018 and has been working under Haney and Jackson to complete her law studies, according to NBC.

Kim went on to honor her father Robert who was famously on O.J. Simpson’s defense team during his murder trial in 1995.

She wrote: ‘I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner.

‘I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn’t pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!’

The SKIMS founder finished off the post with an inspiring message for her followers as she concluded: ‘Bottom line is don’t ever give up even when you are holding on by a thread, you can do it!!!!!

In the accompanying photoshoot, Kim sported a royal blue long-sleeved gown with a very low-cut neckline and a backless design.

In March, Kim revealed on Good Morning Vogue she’s now halfway through her law degree and has just two years left of studying before she can take her bar exam and become a fully qualified lawyer.

She said: ‘I’m still in law school, I have two years left. So I have two years under my belt. I actually am not doing an essay and doing this interview instead, so I’m gonna have to get up really early tomorrow to write like a two-hour essay. So that is really steady and a lot of work.’

Kim also spoke about taking a break from her studies over the past year because the COVID-19 pandemic has meant she’s been unable to meet with her teachers.

‘Even the work schedule, I would have worked non-stop and I would’ve done anything and everything at all hours and never taken into consideration just slowing down at all. This was a forced halt.’

Kardashian has not only been studying law but has also been involved in the process as days ago she  filed to be legally single and have her maiden name restored as the divorce process from Kanye West rolls on.

The star filed the legal documents on Friday which will make her legally a single woman if signed off by a judge according to TMZ.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is that Kim wants her maiden name restored which means dropping West despite her businesses like KKW Beauty and KKW fragrance using her married initials.

This comes hours after Kanye begged Kim ‘run right back to me’ amid their divorce during a Free Larry Hoover concert on Thursday night which his estranged wife attended.

The legal move is basically asking the judge to separate the issues of child custody, property, and financial implications from actual marital status.

As Kim has enlisted celebrity attorney Laura Wasser, the decision to separate marital status from other issues not out of the ordinary for the lawyer who has worked plenty of other celebrity clientele.

More than anything it allows anyone who is in the process of getting divorced to get on with their lives  in being single and hash out other issues at a different time.

A source confirmed to DailyMail.com in February that Kim has filed for divorce. ‘The split is amicable and there is no drama,’ the insider shared at the time.

Kim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their four young children;  North, eight, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two. It was claimed that neither will contest their prenup.

The tension reportedly started in July 2020 when Kanye decided to run for President of the United States and claimed he wanted North aborted but Kim refused. He also called Kim’s mother Kris Jenner ‘Kris Jong Un.’
