Kim Kardashian, Jessica Simpson and more light up their mansions with Christmas displays

Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Garner are just some of the stars who are battling it out for the best Christmas light displays at their million-dollar LA homes.

No doubt the stars have been splashing out on making their homes look extra festive, following a year that has been marred by the global coronavirus pandemic.

Kim, 40, and husband her 43-year-old husband Kanye West’s outdoor decor at their $60 million Calabasas home reflects their minimalist style that they have inside their mega mansion.

The estate features snow white covered trees lining their massive driveway as well as several in their backyard that become lit with white lights at night.

Meanwhile Kim’s half-sister Kylie Jenner, 23, who resides in the Holmby Hills, decorated her second home, which is located in Calabasas’ Hidden Hills, the same community as Kim, Kris Jenner, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob Kardashian.

The $16 million mansion features yellow lights all around the home as well as the trees; the front foliage features hanging lights in the same hue.

The driveway also featured lights as well, lining all the way around it as well as around the grass area and hedges around the house.

In  April, it was revealed that Kylie, 23, purchased a $36.5 million home in Holmby Hills.

It appears to be her main residence, where she resides with her daughter Stormi, two.

The Holmby Hills estate features 19,250 square feet of living space, 14 bathrooms and seven bedrooms, with a large pool in the middle of the compound.

Despite once calling her the youngest self-made billionaire, Forbes pegs Kylie’s true net worth at just under $900 million. 

She made her millions from her Kylie Cosmetics to TV appearances to product endorsements.

Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson made sure to keep her estate simple with the lighting, opting for rainbow hued lights around the roof of the house and some of the trees in the front covered in yellow lights.

Jennifer Garner opted for the opposite look – a colorful, bold and bright take on Christmas.

Jennifer is currently renting the 10, 568 square foot home in the Pacific Palisades while her home is being constructed.

The rental home she is staying in was last sold for $13.86 million. 

She sold her previous home, in the same community, for $31.95 million to Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo; Jennifer scooped up a home in Brentwood Park for $7.9, which she is either radically renovating or tore it down and building a new home from the ground up, according to Variety.

Her rental home featured purple, yellow, green orange, red and green tones throughout with purple being the main theme for the festive abode. 

Kate Hudson actually owns two homes next to each other in the same neighborhood as Jen – Pacific Palisades.

Her childhood home is a 1935 Tudor Revival home that is reportedly used as a guest home – complete with 6.5 baths and five bedrooms. 

Her main residence has gray and white tones on the outside with a large pool in the backyard.

Both homes had red lights decorating hedges in the front of the gates with white lights along the hedges closer toward the house.

They also had lights lining the homes’ roof area as well.
