Relationship expert: These are the three psychological tricks to flip a power dynamic and make people ‘obsessed’ with you

  • American relationship expert said you have to act nonchalant to flip a dynamic
  • She said you can make someone obsessed with you by following three tricks

A relationship expert has shared the three psychological tricks that will flip a power dynamic and have someone ‘obsessed’ with you in no time.

Kimberley Mofitt, who is from the US and has a doctoral degree in psychology, shared a video to her 200,000 followers in which she explained the tricks and why they are ‘so powerful’ when they are done right.

‘Have you ever been in a love situation where you feel like the other person is holding all of the power?’ Kimberley said.

‘Well, what if I told you that there are three things that you can do right now that can flip a power dynamic right back around to get them pursuing you again.’

1. The ‘Fearless State’ Concept

The first trick you need to know about is the ‘Fearless State’ Concept.

This involves putting yourself in as ‘fearless a state as is humanly possible’.

‘This means that you’re going to wake up in the morning and listen to music that actually makes you feel fearless,’ Kimberley said.

‘You’re also going to go to events and see people who actually pump you up and you’re only going to watch content that makes you feel powerful.’

The reason why this works, Kimberley said, is because it gives you confidence, which in turn ‘makes you attractive’.

‘This will make that other person want to chase you,’ she said.

2. Stop responding

The second thing the relationship expert said you need to do is stop responding.

‘This sounds toxic, but it’s not – let me explain,’ Kimberley said.

‘When someone pulls their energy away from us, our natural instinct is to go towards them, but you are not going to do that.’

If the person you’re in a relationship with is ‘holding all the power’, Kimberley said that ‘already means they have pulled back their energy from you’.

She said you shouldn’t feel that you need to ‘message them back all the time right away if they aren’t doing the same for you’.

Instead, you should sit and let a message lie unanswered for a few hours or even a day before giving a response.

Finally, Kimberley (pictured) said you need to give this person an 'honest once over', as this is 'the kicker and it's a total mind f**k for the person you are dating'

3. Give them an honest once over

Finally, Kimberley said you need to give this person an ‘honest once over’, as this is ‘the kicker and it’s a total mind f**k for the person you are dating’.

‘You are going to give them a very realistic once over,’ Kimberley said.

‘When you do this, evaluate if this person even meets your bare minimum standards.’

If you do this trick, Kimberley said you’re putting yourself back into your ‘rightful place of empowerment’.

Even if you don’t like what you see when you give them the once over, you’ll automatically feel more powerful.

Thousands who saw the relationship expert’s video were quick to thank Kimberley for sharing such handy advice.

‘Everything she said is fact. A guy was acting uninterested all of a sudden. I switched to nonchalant mode. He came back running to me,’ one commenter wrote.

‘Much needed, thank you so much,’ another added.
