King of shaves! Liverpool star Mo Salah ditches his chest hair to reveal a VERY smooth torso while celebrating his Champions League triumph on a beach break

  • Salah showed off super-smooth torso in an Instagram post to his 28m followers
  • It’s in sharp contrast to the fuzz sported in a similar beach shot from July 2018
  • At the Champions League final game on June 2nd, Salah was seen backing away from a female reporter who he thought was coming in for a kiss

Champions League winner Mo Salah has is currently clearly prefering a smoother look when it comes to body hair, ditching the fuzz on his torso.

The football star – dubbed The Egyptian King – is looking considerably less hirsute than he did just a year ago, clearly choosing to wax it all off off before hitting the beach.

The 26-year-old father-of-one has been posting photos of himself in a balmy location emerging from the sea with zero body hair, a sharp contrast to just a year ago, when he sported a more hirsute look in a similar setting.

While his trademark curls remain untamed, Liverpool’s star striker clearly prefers a smoother approach when it comes to body hair, showing his torso perfectly waxed in recent shots of him celebrating the post-season break – and his Champions League win – on the beach

Salah left football fans chuckling in the wake of Liverpool’s Champions League final triumph over Tottenham Hotspur on June 2nd.

The striker was spotted backing away, fearing a female interviewer was about to move in for a kiss.

As the interviewer leaned in – to try and be heard over the noise of the raucous crowd – the Egyptian apparently thought something else was going on, and quickly moved back.

Liverpool’s star forward had fans in stitches as he misread the situation, and one fan caught the awkward moment and posted it on Twitter for it to be remembered forever.

‘He’s like “my wife is here,”‘ said one user, while another commented ‘you simply don’t touch the king.’

Salah married his wife, Maggi, in 2013, and they had a daughter, Makka, together in 2014.

Someone else, who clearly isn’t as much of a Mo Salah fan as others, said: ‘For someone to get that close and he stayed on his feet. There’s the shock.’ They were mocking Salah for developing a reputation as a bit of a diver when he comes under pressure from defenders.

Liverpool defeated Tottenham in the Champions League final thanks to an early penalty from Salah, and a late strike from Divock Origi.

The players took to the streets of Liverpool to show off the Champions League trophy in an impressive parade, where hundreds of thousands of fans turned up to show their support.
