Kirsty Gallacher grimaces during Surrey charity shop work

Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher looked unimpressed with some of the charity shop clothes she had to sort as she served her community service this week.

The TV star, 41, was seen grimacing as she worked in the second-hand store in Surrey yesterday, following her conviction for drink driving.

Kirsty was banned from the road and ordered to carry out 100 hours of community service after she was caught three times the legal limit behind the wheel the day after a boozy night out.

It was a change of scenery for Kirsty, who was in Dubai staying at the luxury Atlantis The Palm hotel while in the Middle East at a golf event.

The TV presenter, who tends to dress down for the unpaid work hours, turning up in gym clothes and hoodies, has previously been made to hoover and clean the charity shop.

She was also told to go through the shop’s storeroom and give parts of the store a steam clean.

Kirsty, of Virginia Water, Surrey, admitted drink-driving in court in September and blamed the stress of her marriage breakdown with former rugby union star Paul Sampson.

Gallacher – the daughter of former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher – had met friends after work on August 11 at The Winning Post pub in Winkfield, Berkshire, where they stayed until 3am.

She posted a picture to her 183,000 followers on photo-sharing app Instagram of her and friends sipping champagne.

Gallacher left her BMW at the pub overnight and took a cab home, before taking another taxi back to her car the next morning and driving eight miles to Eton to meet her children, who had been staying with their father.

The Sky Sports News presenter, of Virginia Water in Surrey, had been due to take Jude, seven, and ten-year-old Oscar shopping for school uniforms.

But she was spotted driving erratically and, after a tip-off, police used CCTV to find her BMW parked on Eton High Street and arrested her next to it.

She has kept her job with Sky Sports after what her lawyer called ‘unintentional drink driving’.
