KISS announced their final tour after kicking off the America’s Got Talent finale on Wednesday with a live rendition of their 1976 hit Detroit Rock City.
The legendary glam rock band announced they’re capping off their impressive 45-year career with the ‘multi-year’ End of the Road World Tour with dates yet to be announced.
‘All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years,’ KISS said in a statement.

‘This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in… unapologetic and unstoppable.’
KISS showcased all their signature drag-style trappings – wigs, make-up, platform boots, and pyrotechnics.
‘Starchild’ singer Paul Stanley destroyed his rhythm guitar while ‘Demon’ singer-and-bassist Gene Simmons lashed his long tongue at host Tyra Banks and judge Simon Cowell.
Judge Heidi Klum – who was born in 1973 – tweeted that she was ‘so excited’ to meet KISS, flashing her own tongue and devil horns behind the scenes of the NBC talent competition.

Cheering on 69-year-old Gene (born Chaim Witz) was his 26-year-old daughter Sophie from his seven-year marriage to former Playboy Playmate Shannon Tweed.
And 66-year-old Paul (born Stanley Eisen) previously brought his second wife Erin Sutton and their daughter Sarah, 9; son Colin, 12; and daughter Emily, 7; to the August 21st taping.

KISS will next perform at their KISS Kruise VIII aboard a Norwegian Jade vessel sailing October 31-November 5 from Miami to Key West and Nassau.
