Kit Harington cuts a suave figure as he’s spotted on the set of BBC drama Industry for FIRST time

Kit Harington has been spotted on the London set of BBC banking drama Industry for the first time.

The Game of Thrones actor, 36, cut a suave figure in a smart suit as filmed scenes alongside Marisa Abela, who will play Amy Winehouse in upcoming biopic Back To Black.

Kit, joining the show for it’s third season as CEO Henry Muck, layered a tailored jacket over a crisp white shirt and maroon tie for the scenes.

Completing the look with a stylish overcoat, he slicked back his dark locks from his handsome face.

The filming saw the Hollywood star shaking hands with another actor as he emerged from a grand building climbing into a black SUV.

Industry gives viewers an inside view of the blackbox of high finance following a group of young bankers.

In the series, the bankers attempt to mould their identities within the pressure cooker environment and sex and drug-fueled blitz of international bank Pierpoint & Co’s London office.

Series three sees Pierpoint looking to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, and the desk find themselves front and centre in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company – in a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media and government.

Since starring in eight series of Game Of Thrones, Kit appeared in the star-studded cast of Marvel’s Eternals as Black Knight, released in 2021.

This year he will also star in the AppleTV+ series Extrapolations, an anthology series that depicts the effects of climate change, beginning on March 17.

In October, HBO announced that they had renewed Industry for a third season, with star Myha’la Herrold – who plays Harper Stern – gushing: ‘Y’all did this… Thank you so much for watching our show and sending us so much love.

‘I can’t wait to bring you more @industryhbo. Season three is coming!’

It’s unclear what’s in store for the 26-year-old NoCal native’s character after she was fired from her position at the Cross Product Sales desk at Pierpoint & Co for lying about graduating college.

Creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay previously teased on a Discord chat that they had ‘a very good season three idea.’

‘We had a rule that we had to burn our best plot ideas as quickly as possible,’ Kay said of season two.

‘Hold nothing back. Every episode should feel like a finale. We hate how slow most modern TV is.’

Leung, Alex Alomar Akpobome, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill, and Jay Duplass.

‘Industry reached new heights in season two, cementing its status as a buzzy hit with addictive storytelling, layered characters, a breakneck pace, and keen observations about contemporary workplace dynamics,’ HBO Programming senior VP Kathleen McCaffrey told Deadline on Tuesday.

‘We’re incredibly proud of what Mickey and Konrad, Jami O’Brien, Jane Tranter, and the team at Bad Wolf – together with our entire cast and crew – accomplished.

‘We couldn’t be more excited to continue our journey with them into season three.’

The upcoming biopic Back To Black is expected to follow Winehouse’s life as a talented jazz singer in North London to her rise as a global superstar with her second album, 2006’s Back to Black.

She became one of just five women at the time to win five Grammys in one night, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

The singer had struggles with alcohol and drug abuse throughout her career, passing away in 2011 at just 27 years of age from alcohol poisoning.

A24’s 2015 documentary Amy won the Oscar for Best Documentary, though this will be the first biopic to tackle her life, though other versions were in the works.

The filming comes after Amy’s father Mitch defended the controversial casting choice for the new biopic – after many claimed Marisa and Amy don’t look enough alike.

Mitch, 72, disagrees with the backlash as he shared that Marisa is a ‘great choice’, admitting it doesn’t matter if they ‘don’t look exactly alike’.

Chatting with TMZ on the new release about his daughter, Mitch said: ‘Marisa is Marisa and Amy is Amy… so it’s no big deal if they aren’t mirror images. Marisa is a great choice for the role.’

He continued that Eddie Marsan, who is playing Mitch, doesn’t look exactly like him either, noting: ‘There’s too much emphasis on looks.

‘Because there’s plenty of Hollywood examples of actors not looking like their real-life character.’
