Budget retailer Kmart, fresh from shaking up the world of housing interiors, is now set to do the same to the beauty world.
If you’ve ever shelled out big bucks for a sheet mask only to be a little disappointed because it can only be used once, Kmart has a simple solution and it costs just $2.
Kmart’s beauty range, which up until now was one of the store’s best-kept secrets, offers a mask that comes with all the benefits of a sheet mask but is also reusable.
Kmart’s sheet mask allows you to customise the products you want to use, making it perfect for sensitive skin
The mask works in exactly the same way as a regular sheet mask, but instead of coming infused with products you use your own, then place the mask over the top to stop them drying out.
Those familiar with sheet masks will know they can be little slippery but Kmart’s masks come with ear loops to stop them from sliding around or slipping off your face.
After you’re done with your treatment, the mask can be rinsed and reused – and the product you’ve used stays on your skin.
The masks, also known as cheat masks, offer a quick fix of hydration.
Available as either fabric or gel, the masks come laden with a range of serums and skin care lotions designed to rejuvenate dull or dehydrated skin.

One of the big advantages of the South Korean-born skincare trend is they’re the perfect 15-minute beauty treatment, and because of this, they can be done multiple times a week.
Though the reusable face masks are yet to become the must-try product among Kmart aficionados, some have praised the efficacy of the sheet masks on the popular Facebook group, Kmart Mums Australia.
