In light of COVID-19, the budget retailer has been taking extra precautions to ensure team members and customers are safe during their shopping experience.

‘We want to assure you that the health and wellbeing of our team members and customers continues to be our number one priority,’ it said on its website.

‘We’re committed to providing a truly safe environment for every person who walks through our doors, which is why we’ll continue to: Focus on cleaning and sanitisation in-store to ensure hygiene standards are maintained.

‘Practice physical distancing in-store; guiding teams and customers with 1.5m distancing. Reduce physical contact in-store whenever possible and limit the maximum number of people visiting us in-store at any one time.’

Experts from the World Health Organisation have explained how everyone can reduce the chances of being infected or spreading COVID-19.

Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water for 20 seconds or more.

If you need to leave your house, wear a face mask to avoid infecting others as avoiding contact with people will protect them from possible COVID-19.
