One of Caroline’s most popular ‘hacks’ is her plant stand conversion.

For this, all you need to get your hands on is one faux rattan fruit bowl ($8) and one woven tripod stand ($12), both from Kmart.

To convert the budget pieces, simply secure the two items together with a few zip-ties and then place your favourite potted plants or flowers inside for a relaxed bohemian household feel.

‘That is genius, what a brilliant idea,’ one woman commented underneath the video.

‘I’m going to Kmart tomorrow to get the items to do this – so pretty!’ another added.

2. The elevated bookshelf

The second way Caroline uses the store’s top budget products is to make an elevated bookshelf, which she does using the $19 rattan look magazine stands.

‘I bought two rattan look stands for $19 each, and you’ll also need some wall hooks,’ Caroline said.

To suspend the stands to the wall, she said you just need to push the wall hooks into the seagrass of the stands and then tie some jute rope to the hooks.

‘Use hanging strips if you don’t want to damage your walls,’ Caroline explained.

Then, simply suspend above one another to create a cosy reading nook.

‘I was so happy with how this turned out!’ she posted.
