A mother has leaked Kmart’s ‘secret plans’ to release a $29 family size pie maker in the next few months.
The original $29 pie maker became an instant favourite across Australia, with home cooks using the appliance to make everything from rissoles to desserts or dim sum.
But now the bargain retailer has confirmed it will be stocking a family-size baker in stores by September, which has one large hole instead of four like the first model.

A woman named Steph revealed the exciting news on the Kmart Pie Maker Recipes, Tips and Ideas Australia closed Facebook page.
‘Kmart has advised me via email that their family size pie maker (the large family pie with just 1 large hole) for $29 is due in stores this September,’ she said.
‘Hope they [Kmart] are going to be well prepared for rush of crazy pie maker people,’ one member wrote.
‘Would be awesome if they would take preorders to ensure there is enough for use dedicated pie-makers,’ another wrote.
One added: ‘My birthday is Oct 3 guess I’m getting an early gift lol.’
The post attracted more than 800 reactions and over 200 comments.
Kmart Australia were not able to immediately confirm reports the family size pie maker would be on shelves in September when contacted by Daily Mail Australia.
