A teacher from one of Sydney’s most exclusive private boys schools has been charged with child grooming.
William Roberto Gulson, 27, an English and drama teacher at Knox Grammar School, in Wahroonga, in the city’s north shore, was arrested on Friday.
He was charged with one count of procuring or grooming child under 16 for unlawful sexual activity.
Gulson will spend the night behind bars before facing Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
Police had launched an investigation this month over allegations a man groomed a child online.
Gulson has worked at Knox since 2021 where he was also the Year 7 mentor and Theatre Sports Convenor.
