A 14-karat gold and diamond ring Kobe Bryant bought for his mom, who later sold it, has fetched more than $206,000 from an unnamed collector in an auction.

The ring sold in a Goldin Auctions event for $206,080, TMZ reported event Sunday, following a 20-bid sale in which the minimum bid was set at $15,000.

The private collector obtained the ring in a six-item lot for $280,000 in 2013 from Bryant’s parents Joe and Pamela Bryant in a sale that was preceded by some family drama, as Kobe, 41, was opposed to the sale.

In the wake of a dispute that saw the family head to court in the spring of 2013, Kobe eventually let his parents move six of the items, which they did.

Kobe had the rings specially made following his Lakers’ championship victory over the Indiana Pacers led by Reggie Miller in June of 2000.

Following the series, in which Shaquille O’Neal was named Series MVP, Kobe shelled out for a pair of ornate rings for his parents, with each piece containing 40 diamonds.

A second ring that Kobe gifted his father Joe could go on sale soon, the outlet reported.

Bryant daughter Gianna ‘GiGi’ Bryant and seven others perished in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. They are survived by Vanessa Bryant, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.

Also killed in the crash was basketball coach Christina Mauser; John Altobelli, a baseball coach for Orange Coast College, with his wife Keri and their daughter Alyssa; and Sarah Chester and daughter Payton (one of Gianna’s basketball teammates, along with Alyssa).

The group was headed from Orange County to Kobe’s Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks at the time of the deadly crash. Officials earlier this month said the crash was ruled accidental; the National Transportation Safety Board’s final report might not come out for months.

The late NBA icon is set to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2020 later this year.
