The 23-year-old and his crew were followed by several people in vehicles when they left the venue, and at one point tried to cut them off, according to a police account told to the Tallahassee Democrat.
Black’s entourage then drove to the McDonald’s near the Tally Strip where they blocked the entrance to the parking lot with one of their cars as the rapper went inside to get his food.
Eventually, the people who were trailing Black pulled up to the fast-food establishment and one of the passengers opened fire.
The rapper’s security guard was hit once in the leg during the confrontation. Making things worse: the bullet hit his femoral artery, which upgraded him to serious condition.
Black (legal name Bill Kahan Kapri) and the victim were put into an armored vehicle and driven to a local hospital, according to reports.
