Kristin Cavallari reveals the WORST advice that she got from The Hills producers – but admits: ‘I guess it got us another season’

Kristin Cavallari opened up about the worst advice she got from the producers of The Hills.

‘Oh my God, the worst advice was probably to make out with the gay bartender,’ Cavallari, 36, revealed to Us Weekly.

‘Although, I don’t know, I guess it got us another season,’ she added with a laugh.

But despite that, Kristin – who denies ‘shooting her shot’ with Travis Kelce – admitted she wasn’t bent out of shape about the staged shenanigans and said overall the producers treated her very well during her stints on Laguna Beach, The Hills and Very Cavallari.

‘I actually had a lot of producers looking out for me on all of the shows I did,’ she recalled. ‘And it is not even necessarily one piece of good advice, but they just kept being honest with me  and telling me when to reel it in or when to step it up.’

And she admitted in the world of reality TV, having kind producers is pretty rare.

She said: ‘There are definitely snakes, don’t get me wrong, but there are really good people too.’

And while she doesn’t reveal when this particular kiss took place, Kristen was no stranger to causing trouble and drama on the show.

‘Not only has the blond star managed, in just under two seasons, to make moves on both Justin Bobby and her ex Brody Jenner, but she also stirred up trouble with Justin’s on-again, off-again GF Audrina Patridge, as well as with Brody’s ladies Jayde and McKaela, ‘ MTV reported in 2010.

In response, Cavallari said: ‘Honestly, I think it’s fun to play the bad girl, and no one remembers the nice girl, you know?’

Earlier this week, the mom of sons Camden, 10, and Jaxon, eight, and daughter Saylor, seven, clarified some rumors about the time she said she was ‘in love’ with Travis Kelce, 33.

The NFL star and new boyfriend of Taylor Swift, 33, was a guest on the Uncommon James founder’s Let’s Be Honest podcast where she admitted to being a fan of his 2016 dating show Catching Kelce.

‘You were 100 percent my TV crush when the show was on,’ she confessed to him on the episode. ‘I was in love with you.’

E! News reported that she would never tell Kelce if she actually had a crush on him of not because she’s  ‘got more game than that.’

‘What’s so funny is everyone was like, ‘Kristin was shooting her shot with Travis,” she said told Justin Sylvester and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton.

‘I’m like, ‘I actually wasn’t there,” she clarified, adding, ‘If I really have a crush on someone I’m not gonna tell you I had a huge crush on you and was in love with you.’

During the podcast the Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about his dating turnoffs to Cavallari.

If you’re arrogant or you think you’re snooty or higher or above people, that’s the biggest turnoff for me,’ he told The Hills alum.

He added that ‘high-maintenance’ women are not for him. ‘I’m out the door. I’ve never been a part of that.’

His ideal woman is someone ‘kindhearted and sweet’ like his mom Donna Kelce.
