It’s been a big year for Instagram sensation Kurt Coleman, who dramatically renounced his once severe addiction to cosmetic surgery this month.
But in a sad twist, the 20-year-old has now expressed concern his very public advocacy for surgery has damaged the lives of some of his fans.
‘I regret doing it publicly, because I made a lot of people think they needed it [surgery]’ he told Daily Mail Australia on the ARIAs red carpet Tuesday.

‘And a lot of people went and got stuff and even went to the places I got it done and I actually regret doing it.’
‘Because I don’t have it anymore and I love what my face looks like.’
Kurt has admitted to undergoing multiple cosmetic procedures, such as Botox, lip fillers, jaw line and chin fillers – but says he’s let them fade and wont be getting more.

It’s clear the socialite was worried some of his followers may not be able to afford any available reversal procedures.
‘I just regret sharing it with everyone and influencing others, when why would you change anything about your face?’
‘It’s stupid and I wish I didn’t do that.’

Earlier this month, Kurt addressed fans directly about his regrets, but hadn’t previously spoken about the impact of his advocacy on others.
The social media star uploaded a photo of himself as a lip filler-loving teen alongside a more recent selfie, showcasing his pivot towards a natural look.
‘I remember thinking my lips weren’t even big back then, how funny!’ he wrote in the caption.
‘Why would you change anything?’ ‘I just regret sharing it with everyone and influencing others, when why would you change anything about your face?’
‘It’s crazy looking back at photos and realising how much the way you see everything in life can change as you grow up.’
‘Like I think why did I ever want to change my lips or anything about myself when I already loved myself inside and out forevaaaaa.’
