Kyle Richards opened up about how she became close friends with Kesha.
The reality TV personality, 55, revealed how they met and explained how their friendship came to be during her Amazon Live stream earlier this week.
While speaking to her special guest Nurse Jamie on the livestream last Tuesday, she said she met the Joyride singer, 37, after they started following each other on Instagram and chatting online.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star — who enjoyed a hike with her best friend Morgan Wade over the weekend amid ongoing romance rumors — shared that Kesha followed her first on social media.
‘She was following me on Instagram and then I followed her back,’ she said.

She added that after messaging each other, they decided to meet up and grab a bite together one day.
‘We messaged each other and we got together for dinner,’ the Halloween actress said.
‘She’s so great,’ she said about her now-close friend. ‘She’s very talented. She is such a sweet person. So, we met like that.’
During her livestream, Richards also gave a shoutout to her gal pal, Morgan Wade, and praised a song that the country singer teamed up with Kesha to create.
She said: ‘[Kesha] did a song with Morgan Wade. That’s a beautiful song [called] Walked on Water.’
The track was released as part of Wade’s fourth studio album, Obsessed, and was also praised by Richards’ eldest daughter Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie.
The 35-year-old reality star said she was ‘obsessed’ with the song and congratulated the two musicians in the caption of her Instagram post on September 1.
Although Richards did not specify how long she has been friends with Kesha, they were spotted together with Avril Lavigne at a Oscars viewing party hosted by Elton John AIDS Foundation in March.

In July, Richards also defended her friend during a chat with TMZ when Kesha was facing online body shaming.
‘I do not understand that. It’s 2024 and she’s gorgeous,’ Richards said about the negative comments on Kesha’s social media. ‘And she’s even more beautiful on the inside.’
She added: ‘I don’t know why people are still talking about women’s bodies. It’s 2024, they need to move on.’
