Kyle Sandilands criticises Grant Denyer over Gold Logie nomination

Grant Denyer is one of six stars nominated for the coveted Gold Logie at this year’s award show.

And on Thursday, KIIS FM shock jock Kyle Sandilands criticised the prestigious nod, claiming he was hardly ‘the best person’ with his TV and radio shows failing.

Kyle, 47, didn’t have many kind words to say about his rival, claiming Grant considered himself ‘mega famous’ despite Family Feud being cancelled.

‘He’s up to something, that little leprechaun!’ Kyle Sandilands criticises Grant Denyer for receiving a Gold Logie nomination after Family Feud was ‘tanking in the ratings’

‘It’s obvious why it got cancelled, because it was tanking in the ratings,’ Kyle said on the discontinued game show on Channel Ten.

He also took time to trash talk Grant’s competing breakfast show on 2Day FM – Em, Grant & Ed.

‘Grant’s gone on and voted for himself,’ Kyle jokingly stated.

Known for his controversial comments, Kyle also questioned whether Grant has enlisted the held of family or ‘a whole lot of Asians’ to vote for him online.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Grant Denyer for comment.

Grant is up against fellow Network Ten stars Amanda Keller and Jessica Marais, Foxtel’s Andrew Winter, and Nine Network’s Tracy Grimshaw and Rodger Corser for the Gold Logie.
