Kyle Sandilands demands a review into KIIS FM staff performance during extraordinary on-air blow-up

Kyle Sandilands has given his staff a spray live on-air this morning.

The co-host of the Kyle and Jackie O Show, 52, did not hold back when he demanded a performance review after a segment on his show did not go according to plan.

Kyle and co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson were undertaking a Q&A with their nonbinary show producer, Kayla, asking questions about their gender identity on air. 

During the segment, Kyle expressed his confusion about ‘all the labels’ related to gender before encouraging the audience to ‘call in if you have any questions.’ 

After Kyle and Jackie finished asking their own questions, Kyle asked his staff to provide him with caller question, and was furious to learn there were none.

His producers responded that no one had called in with any questions and that all their calls were related to the upcoming Tradie vs Lady segment.

The radio host then gave his staff a dressing down live on-air.

‘They’re liars, they’re rubbish. Things don’t work. They break. No one follows anything up, no one chases up any issues.’

‘Thank God your line is working today is all I can say,’ responded co-host Jackie O, referring to technical issues that plagued the show on Wednesday morning.

‘That’s not because of anyone there, let me tell you that, that’s because of my end. Not one email was even sent about the broken line the other day. Not one. No one followed anything up.’

Jackie O attempted to calm Kyle amid his outburst about staff performance.

‘Let’s have a fun day, guys,’ she said.

‘Too late, too late. This is bulls**t,’ Kyle exclaimed.
