Kyle Sandilands reveals son Otto, one, ‘already has a million dollars in his bank account’ – but he didn’t get the money from his radio star dad

Kyle Sandilands shocked his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on Thursday by revealing his one-year-old son Otto is already a millionaire.

The radio king, 52, was discussing his own big spending habits on The Kyle and Jackie O Show when Jackie, 48, said he should be more careful with money to ensure Otto has an inheritance.

‘Otto’s already been loaded up by his great-grandfather, so no worries for him,’ Kyle shot back. 

‘He’s wealthy. My child’s a millionaire, he’s already got a million dollars in his bank.’

He then joked he was jealous of his own wealthy child.

Kyle and his wife Tegan welcomed their first child Otto on August 11, 2022.

Last month, Kyle spent a whopping $25,000 on Otto’s first birthday party, and the KIIS FM star shocked Jackie with the lavish plans.

Kyle revealed he even got a party planner for the day with 24 children and 38 adults invited to celebrate the youngster.

‘It’s only $25,000,’ Kyle said. ‘It’s a watered-down type of party.’

Newsreader Brooklyn Ross was in disbelief asking Kyle if that claim was a ‘joke’ while co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson sarcastically called the celebration plans ‘low-key’. 

Kyle has been besotted by Otto in his first year of fatherhood. 

‘Otto’s already been loaded up by his great-grandfather, so no worries for him,’ Kyle shot back

The shock jock gushed over the tot during an interview with Daily Mail Australia in October last year. 

‘I used to watch hours and hours of TV, and now I just sit there looking at him and he’s really been a joy,’ he said.

‘I’ve just been sitting at home the whole time which I’ve enjoyed. I’m at home now more than I was with lockdowns, so we’re loving every second of it. I’m pretty happy actually. I can’t imagine being any happier.’

Kyle admitted he never dreamed of having children, but now he’s ‘thrilled’ he decided to take the plunge and become a dad.
