Kyle Sandilands has revealed how he and his co-host Jackie O Henderson get away with sharing so much raunchy content on their breakfast radio show.
The radio duo’s KIIS FM show is known for pushing the boundaries when it comes to discussing explicit adult content during the early time slot.
And on Tuesday, Kyle, 53, was asked by a caller named Tom how the pair manage to broadcast ‘sex talk’ on their program.
‘All the other radio presenters, they don’t own their show. The network owns their show,’ Kyle explained on The Kyle & Jackie O Show.
‘Jackie and I years ago did a deal where we own the show, we own the brand, we own everything and they lease us to do the show on their network. So we don’t really have any bosses,’ he added.
‘There’s nothing wrong with the other shows, but they’re having meetings after every show.’
‘We don’t give a s**t what anyone thinks,’ Kyle said.
The caller told the host: ‘It’s just totally different compared to any other radio station you’ll ever listen to.’

The shock jock also fired a shot at his fellow breakfast radio stars as the segment ended.
‘Who wouldn’t listen to this show? What type of person is actually laughing at one of the others? They’re nice people, but there’s nothing interesting,’ Kyle added.
It comes after his co-host Jackie O, 49, revealed elsewhere on Tuesday’s show what excites her in bed.
The radio queen gave an insight into her bedtime antics while chatting to Kyle.
She revealed how she has started using a sleep app so she can look back at everything she does in her sleep.
‘Jackie and I years ago did a deal where we own the show, we own the brand, we own everything and they lease us to do the show on their network. So we don’t really have any bosses,’ he explained to listeners
‘I’ve been doing this sleep app where it records everything,’ she explained, leaving Kyle asking her what she needed to use it for.
Jackie revealed she gets ‘really excited’ revisiting her overnight activities on the app and analysing exactly what she got up to while sleeping.
‘I actually get really excited when I wake up in the morning because I look at the list of things – snoring, animals, other, sleep talking,’ she confessed.
