Kyle Sandilands shared an adorable moment with his son Otto on Friday.

Taking to his Instagram, the co-host of The Kyle and Jackie O Show posted a photo of himself in a pool while his one-year-old son sat on the water’s edge sporting a cheeky grin. 

The lush green hills of tropical North Queensland gave a stunning backdrop as the radio host, 52, smiled alongside his baby boy.

Kyle, his wife Tegan Kynaston, 37, and their son recently returned to Sydney after some time away in Port Douglas.

Beneath the cute snapshot, Kyle wrote a caption assuring his fans he would be back from his family getaway soon.

‘Enjoying the last couple of days of holidays! Kyle & Jackie O will be back on MONDAY!!’

It comes as Kyle recently teased having another child on his radio show, The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

The 52-year-old spoke about his family plans on-air in August after his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson asked whether he was planning to have another baby.

Jackie, 48, explained she was confused about Kyle’s baby plans after chatting to his mother, as they had a stark difference of opinion.

‘[I asked your mum], “Do you think they’ll have another?” And she goes, “Oh yes, yes They’re definitely having another”,’ Jackie began.

‘And then I asked Kyle the same question the next day and he said “no, we’re not having another”,’ she added.

Kyle admitted that while Tegan ‘is not opposed to having another one,’ he has no desire to welcome more kids.

‘I said, ‘S**t, I’m already 52. This kid will be 20 I’ll be in my seventies when the kid’s 21!’ he exclaimed.

Kyle went on to complain about the stress that comes with having just one child, adding: ‘I salute women out there that ring the show that have got like 5, 7 kids.’

‘I do too,’ mother-of-one Jackie agreed, adding: ‘Life is forever something else entirely.’

‘Yeah. You’re a prison warden for the rest of your life until they all move away,’ Kyle joked.

Despite his complaints, Kyle recently described fatherhood as one of the greatest experiences in his life, telling Daily Mail Australia that he ‘can’t imagine being any happier.’

‘I used to watch hours and hours of TV, and now I just sit there looking at him and he’s really been a joy,’ he said in October.

‘I’ve just been sitting at home the whole time which I’ve enjoyed. I’m at home now more than I was with lockdowns, so we’re loving every second of it.

‘I’m pretty happy actually. I can’t imagine being any happier.’

Kyle admitted he’d never dreamed of having children, but is now ‘thrilled’ that he decided to take the plunge and become a dad.
