Kyle Sandilands has revealed the moment he had to help an air hostess settle down his friend Brian McFadden on an international flight.
The radio star, 53, told co-host Jackie O Henderson on his KIIS FM show on Monday, he once had to help get Brian back to his seat otherwise airline staff were going to ‘tie him’.
‘McFadden was holding court down in the back of the plane. They told me, “Excuse me, you must get your friend to sit back in his seat”,’ he began.
I said “I can’t control this bloke”. And they went, “If you don’t get him to sit in his seat, we will tie him to it.” And I thought that’s a definite. I better unclip and sort this out.’
Kyle admitted it wouldn’t be a ‘good look’ so he walked over to Brian and tried to get him back over to his seat.

‘I went down, and I pulled back the curtain back and he’s in the gallery where they make all the food and he’s telling the story and he’s got all these blokes,’ he said.
‘I pulled the curtain back and said, “Mate, you’ve got to come back to your seat.” And he looked at me and he looked at the other guys in shock, and he went, “You’re not my mother!”
‘And I leaned right in and said, “They’re going to tie you to the seat if you don’t come and sit down.” And Brian said, “Okay, guys, we’ll sort the rest of the story out later”.’
It comes after Kyle recently made wild claims about Westlife star Brian, 44, and his ex-girlfriend Delta Goodrem.

Speaking with his co-host Jackie O, Kyle brought up an eyebrow-raising act he claimed he witnessed the couple do during their relationship.
The KIIS FM host alleged he saw the couple ‘spit’ into each other’s mouths at his home on one occasion.
‘They’d just spit in each other’s mouths and giggle,’ he claimed.
‘I was like… “you’re in my lounge room what’s going on here”… it was like Travis Barker and [Kourtney] Kardashian.’

Brian and Delta met in 2004 when he asked her to duet with him on the song, Almost Here.
At the time, Brian was still married to Kerry Katona – who he shares daughters Molly, 22, and Lilly-Sue, 21, with – although they had separated and the song was about their break-up.
Brian and Delta went on to start dating and announced their engagement in 2007, but split four years later in 2011.
