Kyle Sandilands shows off impressive weight loss

He’s the shock jock best known for his witty one liners and controversial comments.

But beneath his larger than life personality, Kyle Sandilands, 47, has struggled with his weight and suffered several health scares over the years.

However, after being pictured exiting Network Ten’s studios on Saturday, it seems the KIIS FM host has trimmed down.

Despite being dressed in his trademark all black look, his blazer framed his new figure.

The noticeable weight loss comes after Kyle revealed on The Kyle & Jackie O Show live last year that he’d ballooned up to 135kg.

‘Okay, let’s NEVER do that again,’ he said to co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson after reading his result from the scales.

Kyle’s fight to get fit has been going on for over a decade now.

‘I’m fat myself. I have to lose weight, but every Sunday I tell myself I should and I’ll start on Monday, but I don’t,’ he declared to The Sydney Morning Herald in 2008.

In 2011, his health issues took a more serious turn when he was rushed to hospital following a high blood pressure reading during filming of Australia’s Got Talent.

But despite these health scares, the radio star still struggled to alter his diet and lifestyle.

Three years later in 2014, Kyle’s GP urged him to lose weight after suffering from a hernia, which caused him to vomit live on air.

But the presenter took the news his lifestyle has weakened his abdominal walls with humour instead, saying, ‘Who would have thought this beautiful stomach would not be able to hold all my stuff inside?’

A year later he stripped off on national television while appearing on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show.

Proudly showing off his figure, he explained to viewers ‘This is an Australian man…I have been fat shamed over all the newspapers and magazines but Australia here it is.’

He went on to reveal he had become aware that something desperately needed to be done to improve his heath and figure, adding ‘I am a mess and would like to live a bit longer’.
