Kylian Mbappe and his family ‘have an agreement with Real Madrid’, says French agent

Kylian Mbappe and his family ‘have an agreement with Real Madrid’, claims French agent… but LaLiga champions still have to thrash out a deal with PSG to land the France superstar, who has just one year left on his contract

  • Agent Bruno Satin says Kylian Mbappe has agreed terms with Real Madrid
  • Real tried to sign Mbappe when he made a name for himself aged 17 at Monaco
  • Reports in Spain also say the France striker, 22, wishes to move to Madrid
  • Mbappe is the top scorer in Ligue 1 and netted in a Cup final win over Monaco

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, according to a prominent French agent.

Real have coveted Mbappe ever since he broke through at Monaco and had serious plans to sign him before he eventually opted to move to Paris in 2017.

With the France striker running down his contract and with Real still looking for a superstar forward to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo, the LaLiga champions have set their sights on him once again.

And agent Bruno Satin claims Real have already struck a deal with the 22-year-old.

‘My belief is that he is ready to change teams,’ Satin said on French television network Canal Plus.

‘I have also been given some information which tells me Mbappe and his family have an agreement with Real Madrid.’

Mbappe grew up as a huge admirer of Real Madrid and as a child his bedroom wall was covered with posters of Ronaldo, so it should come as no surprise that he wants to head to the Santiago Bernabeu.

What will be harder is convincing PSG to part with the striker, who is the top scorer in Ligue 1 this season with 26 goals and is set to be one of the best players in the world for many years to come, as well as being an icon for the France national team.

‘The player has struck a deal, although Paris Saint-Germain will also need to agree to it,’ added Satin.

PSG could be compelled to selling their star forward though if he continues to reject a new contract, to prevent him from joining Real for free when his current deal ends next year.

Satin’s comments follow weeks of intense speculation in the Spanish media that Mbappe is going to end up at Real, who are looking for a new talismanic figure to lead them as Eden Hazard has fallen way short of expectations since signing from Chelsea for £130m in 2019.

‘Mbappe will sign for Real within the next two months’, said Josep Pedrerol of the popular late night chat show El Chiringuito on Thursday.

‘It will be around 100 million euros, not much more. He will explain to PSG that he has opted for Real Madrid, he will do it politely. Mbappe has said to Real Madrid that he wants to join.’

Mbappe helped fire PSG to a 2-0 win over Monaco in the French Cup final on Wednesday and his side have an outside chance of winning a domestic double as they trail Ligue 1 leaders Lille by one point heading into their final game of the season.
