Kylie Gillies has shared a touching family video that many working mothers will no doubt relate to.

The 54-year-old Channel Seven star missed being with her son Archie as he received an important honour at his school on Wednesday because she was co-hosting The Morning Show.

The resourceful TV host streamed the event live on her phone and watched it during commercial breaks.

‘Today Archie received school ‘Colours’ for his AFL,’ she shared in her stories.

‘His school live-streamed the assembly, which is the first Winter sports assembly since 2019 due to the pandemic…how good is technology!’

In the video, which was shot inside the Channel Seven studios, Kylie can be seen taking a moment to watch the event as The Morning Show crew members prepared the next segment.

The Dancing with the Stars finalist explained that her husband Tony Gillies was able to make the big event and Archie’s grandma watched from her home in Queensland.

She went to reveal she would be taking a few days off to be with Archie for the school valedictory event in a few weeks time.

Friends and followers praised Kylie for acknowledging the challenges of being a working mother.
