Kylie Minogue steals the show in a red glittery dress at the star-studded Global Citizen Live event

A host of stars were out in force for the Global Citizen Live event on Saturday night, and Kylie Minogue brought the glamour as she took to the stage in a glittery red asymmetrical dress.  

Taking place across six continents, the 24-hour fundraiser will feature a slew of famous faces coming to together to enact change.

And the singer, 53, stole the show in the figure hugging red gown before she changed into a sexy cut out black number for her performance.  

Beauty: She looked very glamorous in the ensembles while her blonde locks were styled in a middle parting and natural waves

Kylie appeared in her element as she strutted around the stage in the one shouldered red sparkly dress, before slipping in the semi-sheer black LBD. 

The Can’t Get You Out Of My Head hitmaker pulled out all the stops as she belted out tunes at Sky Garden to the audience. 

She had pink glittery eyeshadow swept across her lips and layers of shining lip gloss on her pout. The 24-hour event, which aims to defend the planet and defeat poverty, also saw the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Will.I.Am and Stormzy showing their support.

Performances are being broadcast from across the globe including: Lagos, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, and Sydney.    

Global Citizen Live is part of Global Citizen’s 2021 global campaign, a Recovery Plan For The World. 

The plan aims to end COVID-19 for all, end the hunger crisis, resume learning for all, protect the planet, and advance equity for all.

Also in attendance was actress Priyanka Chopra who presented the stage in Paris.  The actress was glowing in a sky blue skater dress which boasted a floral hem and a cinched in waist. 

Her brunette locks were styled in waves and she had a simple make up look of neutral lipstick and dark eyeliner. 

The actress put on an animated display as she warmed the crowd up at the Paris concert, ahead of Stormzy’s performance.  

And Stormzy looked very suave in a cream shirt and matching trousers.  The Grime artist, 28, was performing in front of the Eiffel Tower for the charity concert.  

BBC One are broadcasting the show from 5:30 p.m on Saturday and across the BBC until approximately 3 a.m.

Other stars taking part in the global event is  Nile Rodgers, Chic and Duran Duran. 

Duran Duran took to the stage for an energetic performance, while they wore quirky outfits. 

Lead singer Simon Le Bon wore a black blazer, graphic T-shirt and jazzy trousers while Nick Rhodes stood out in a PVC red suit and tie.

John and Andy Taylor both looked every inch the rockers in black outfits with edgy jackets.  

The show in Los Angeles will see Stevie Wonder, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Demi Lovato performing. 

While in the French capital Elton John will be joined by Charlie Puth and and Fatma Said.

In Britain, the organisation will call on business and government leaders to show continued global leadership through a successful COP26 — the biggest climate summit since the 2015 Paris Agreement.  

They will also be asking the private sector to join the Race To Zero coalition in an attempt to avoid a global temperature rise greater than 1.5 degrees Celsius.
