LA homeless man launches AXE attack on Good Samaritan

Shocking CCTV footage has emerged of an axeman attacking a shopper after the Good Samaritan offered to pay for items the suspect was allegedly trying to steal.

Los Angeles police officers arrested Kisu Brown, 41, days after he fled the scene of the brutal attack.

In a graphic video released by the police department as part of an effort to track down the ‘armed and dangerous’ man, the suspect walks out of the shop in West Hollywood with a paper bag in his hand before reaching for a weapon in his back pocket.

He then loiters at the door until a man leaves the shop after him, then swipes at his victim with what police have said is an axe.

The suspect lands several blows on the victim’s head and body as a terrified witness, wearing orange trousers, tries to intervene.

The axeman begins to walk away from his victim before doubling back to strike him twice more.

The victim was treated in hospital after the vicious attack which occurred just after 4am on Saturday 2 September.

Brown was arrested on Tuesday.

In a statement, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said: ‘Responding deputies have learned the suspect was stealing items from the location when the victim offered to pay for his items. 

‘The suspect became upset, refused the victim’s offer and a struggle ensued. 

‘As the victim left the location the suspect pulled out an axe and began to hit him in the head several times. After the assault, the suspect fled the location. He is a local transient.

‘The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.’
