Lady A’s Dave Haywood shares he and wife Kelli are expecting their third child as he jokes he has ‘always been a fan of trios!’

Dave Haywood of the band Lady A is going to be a dad for the third time over, he announced on Instagram this week.

The 41-year-old singer — who already shares son Cash, nine, and daughter Lillie, six, with wife Kelli — shared the news along with a black and white photo of his family.

He wrote in the caption, ‘I’ve always been a big fan of trios! Baby Boy Haywood coming in July,’ along with a blue heart emoji.

Haywood has long been part of the three-person musical group Lady A, originally called Lady Antebellum.

Plugging her new management company, Haywood’s wife commented, ‘I’m birthing a lot of things this summer! @hsquaredmgmt.’

Dave and Kelly tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their first bundle of joy in 2014.

At the time, he tweeted an announcement through his band’s Twitter account.

The gushing post read, ‘So happy to have a healthy baby boy here with us!’

He added: ‘Cash Van Haywood was born last night, Mom & Dad are doing great and couldn’t be happier!’

The band’s rep confirmed the news, explaining the child’s unique name.

‘Cash is taken from Kelli’s maiden name Cashiola and Van is Dave’s father’s name,’ the person told People.

According to the publication, the baby weighed 7 lbs and was 19 inches long.

In December 2017, the couple’s daughter Lillie Renee was born, just days before Christmas.

The country band formerly known as Lady Antebellum announced its name change in 2020.

The moniker was adjusted due to the word ‘antebellum’ and its association with slavery.

The ‘antebellum south’ describes a period in Southern United States history between 1830-1860, when African-Americans were enslaved by aristocrats.

The band members said they felt compelled to make the change after racial tensions opened their eyes to ‘blind spots we didn’t even know existed.’
