In the emotional clip the singer uploaded to her devoted 53.2 million fans and followers, Lady Gaga began by thanking those who had come to the concert.

She expressed that ‘we really tried to finish the show tonight in Miami,’ but the feat proved to be impossible because, ‘there was lightning that was striking down to the ground so close to us.’

After a brief pause, the Grammy Award winner stated, ‘Look, I know that for a very long time, I’ve always wanted to be like that hardcore bad b***h.’

‘What I really want is to also be responsible and loving. I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to anyone in the audience, or to any member of my crew, my band, my dancers.’

‘So, I’m sorry that we didn’t get to do the epic performance of Rain On Me in the rain,’ she added with a touch of humor.

Safety first: The star explained that even though she tried to keep the concert going, the safety of her fans and crew was the upmost importance
