Stephen Colletti of Laguna Beach fame took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce his engagement to Alex Weaver.
In a joint post, the 37-year-old former MTV personality and his journalist fiancé shared two photos from Rome, Italy.
The caption simply read: ‘Yes! Forever.’
Weaver showed off her massive, oval-shaped diamond in one image, which was set on a gold band.
Another picture showed the future Mr. and Mrs. Colletti in a passionate lip-lock as they sat in front of a scenic view of the city.

Per Weaver’s recent Instagram Stories posts, the two just touched down overseas, kicking off a vacation.
‘Jet lagged. but thriving,’ she captioned snapshots showing her enjoying pasta and gelato.
In another upload, which was a capture geotagged at Villa Medici, she wrote, ‘goodnight from day 1.’
Colletti went Instagram official with Weaver, who’s about a decade younger than him, in August 2022.
At the time, the Newport Beach native captioned the snap: ‘Magic hours are a bit more magical this year.’
The seaside selfie of Stephen and the North Carolina native was taken on July 15, 2022, when they went sailing together in San Diego.
Alex — who was an Alpha Delta Pi sorority sister at Clemson University — wrote in the comments, ‘Luckiest girl.’
Stephen famously dated Laguna Beach costar Kristin Cavallari while the two attended high school in Southern California.
The caption of the engagement announcement simply read: ‘Yes! Forever’

The exes, who are now friends, co-hosted a rewatch podcast of the popular early 2000s reality show called Back to the Beach.
When the series launched, she told Page Six that recording it made them ‘really close,’ but she clarified, ‘There’s nothing romantic happening with us.’
And when a fan on social media asked if she wished Colletti were single, she said no.
‘I love Stephen and will always have such a special connection to him, but no. I’m really happy for him!!’ she replied.
