Kiyan’s visit to the campus was an official one tied to him being recruited to potentially play for the Orangemen.
His father led the university to its only NCAA basketball title in his sole season at Syracuse and was named Most Outstanding Player at the 2003 Final Four.
During their visit to Syracuse the famous family was spotted dining at a local restaurant called the Rise N Shine Diner.
They took a photo with the staff and the restaurant posted it on Instagram with the caption: ‘When @carmeloanthony & @lala come to town they Rise N Shine!! Thank you for so much for stopping in!! Hope to see you all soon!!’
Kiyan is one of the top basketball prospects in the class of 2025.

Melo and Lala got engaged on Christmas Day 2004 and welcome Kiyan on March 7, 2007.
