Lana Del Rey sent fans into a frenzy as she announced her upcoming 10th studio album, The right person will stay.
The right person will stay will now be out on May 21.
This latest project may be the new name for Lasso, a country album that was originally set for release this past September.
Lana dropped the news along with an antique-style photo of her gazing dreamily into the distance beside a canyon.
She gave collaborators Jack Antonoff, Zach Dawes, Luke Laird, a shout-out for their contributions to the project.
‘”The right person will stay,'” Lana began in the caption. ‘Out may 21. so grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach and Drew Erickson amongst others. Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach… starting with Henry. Love Always.’
Fans speculated the new album title could be about her new husband, Jeremy Dufrene. ‘Once again, Lana del Rey changes the title of an album,’ one fan posted to X, originally in Portuguese. ‘Although the title “The Right One Will Stay” sounds like a hint to her exes and features Jeremy Dufrene.’
