New mother Lara Trump showed off a very trim and toned figure over the Thanksgiving weekend, as she slipped into a bikini to take her two-month-old son Luke for his very first dip in the pool.
The 35-year-old cradled baby boy Luke as the pair went for a swimming session in a pool at her father-in-law Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
Lara was understandably excited for the little boy, who was born in September, to wade into the water for the first time, and joked while sharing images from the swim that he had ‘nailed the backstroke’.

Lara took to Instagram to share two photos of the occasion, showing how she cradled little Luke while exploring the swimming pool with him.
Then, she posted a snap of the baby boy bundled up in a white towel, staying warm after his swimming excursion.
His father, Eric, the 33-year-old younger brother of Donald Jr. and Ivanka, shared two additional snaps on his own Instagram account on Sunday, with the hashtag #LittleSwimmer.
The photos were taken as Eric and Lara enjoyed a break from the chilly New York City temperatures during a retreat in Florida, where the significantly warmer weather likely facilitated Luke’s first swim.
They celebrated Thanksgiving along with President Trump, First Lady Melania, and their son Barron at the exclusive estate. Ivanka, Jared Kushner and their children were also thought to have joined the reunion.
Lara, who married Eric in 2014 and has since become the host of her father-in-law’s news program, can be seen in the snaps outside the pool, donning a bikini with her hair up in a casual bun.

And baby makes three: Lara also posted this photo of herself with Luke and husband Eric, 33, the younger brother of Donald Jr. and Ivanka
The new mother, who kept active throughout her pregnancy, has her eyes trained on Luke in both photos, making sure the baby boy is comfortable in her arms both inside an outside of the water.
In both photos, Lara appears in great shape, flashing her flat stomach and toned legs.
While pregnant, the mom kept exercising with her personal trainer, and sometimes took to social media to share videos of her sessions, including one when she was nearly 10 months into her pregnancy.
She previously gave more insight about her workout habits to Daily Mail Online, saying she had been’blessed with an incredibly easy pregnancy’ that allowed her to remain fit and active throughout.
The mom also admitted at the time that she was ‘worried’ about the prospect of not being able to workout.
Best friends: Luke has apparently become very familiar with the family’s pet and even donned a dog-themed baby outfit

Celebrating! Ivanka Trump shared a sweet family portrait to mark the Thanksgiving holiday. She and her family were later thought to be celebrating with the Trumps at Mar-a-Lago
‘I was always a little worried, because I had heard different things from different people about their pregnancies; some people have to stay in bed for months… you never know what you’re going to get,’ she said.
‘I knew I needed to workout for my sanity, and I try and make it a daily habit if I can, so I count myself very lucky that I have been able to keep doing that while pregnant.’
Lara also admitted that she had heard staying fit and active can make delivering a baby easier—and helps to ensure that the recovery time after birth is as speedy as possible.
‘I know it can make the delivery easier, which would be great,’ Lara said of her efforts to stay fit and healthy. ‘And it means that the recovery time after birth is often shorter.’
The new mom also explained at the time that her two sisters-in-law with children, Ivanka and Vanessa, Donald Jr.’s wife, have been on hand throughout her pregnancy to offer help and advice whenever she has needed it.
‘The great thing about both of my sisters-in-law is that I’ve been able to watch them being great moms,’ she said, before adding: ‘They have both been so great with me, they have answered all my questions and are always there to tell me what I should do, which is great; I’m a brand new mom so I don’t know the difference between car seats and strollers.
‘Having them there has been wonderful.’
