She may not have scored an invite to the prestigious Met Gala.

But Lara Worthington still turned heads as she rocked up for Richie Akiva’s afterparty in New York City on Wednesday night.

The 37-year-old model attended the famously riotous event held at the five-star Casa Cipriani.

Lara made a fashion statement in a sheer black corset dress over a white nightdress which had lace detailing.

She accessorised with a pair of chunky black heels and held a black leather jacket on her arm as she arrived to the party.

The model rocked a new pixie cut and showed off her natural features with a neutral makeup palette.

Lara was joined by stars including Madonna, Zendaya, Leonardo DiCaprio, Heidi Klum and Serena Williams at the party.

The event was hosted by singer Doja Cat and South African pop star Tyla.

It comes after Lara recently became an aunt after her brother Joshua and his partner Paige welcomed a healthy baby girl in April.

The doting father, 41, shared a precious gallery of photos to social media that captured the new parents posing up a storm with their bundle of joy.

In a series of black and white photographs, the parents were seen peacefully lying with their baby in a maternity ward.

He captioned the photos with some heartwarming words.

‘Welcome to the world Sienna Grace Bingle. 06.04.2025. We are so incredibly in love with you already,’ he wrote.

Lara took to the comment section to share her joy at becoming a first-time aunt.

‘The most beautiful mumma and perfect angel babyyyyy… luckiest man everrrrr!’ Lara gushed.

Joshua’s partner Paige thanked Lara for her kinds words, writing: ‘Love u so much!!’

Lara and her movie star husband Sam Worthington share three young sons: Racer, River and Rocket.

Loyal fans of Lara may remember Joshua from her short-lived 2012 Channel Ten reality TV series, Being Lara Binge.

Lara and Sam began dating in 2013 and married the following year.
