Large tree falls on block of units smashing roof Sydney

  • Emergency services have rushed to an apartment block after a large tree fell 
  • The tree collapsed on the units on Joseph St in Lidcombe on Tuesday afternoon 
  • Four people were evacuated as fire and ambulance services attended the scene

Emergency services have rushed to a Sydney apartment block after a large tree fell onto the building.

The tree collapsed on the units on Joseph Street in Lidcombe on Tuesday afternoon.

Tiles on the block’s roof can be seen dented and smashed where the tree fell.

Four people were evacuated as fire and ambulance crews attended the scene. An Urban Search and Rescue unit has also responded and is currently at the site.
