Larry Emdur leaves viewers amused as he makes VERY phallic pottery

Larry Emdur is left embarrassed as he accidentally makes VERY phallic pottery live on The Morning Show: ‘I think I cocked it up’

Larry Emdur attempted to make a gift for his wife Sylvie this week and it all went very wrong.

The Morning Show host, 58, shared a video to Instagram in which he tried to create a clay vase live on the breakfast television show.

The television host was making the craft project alongside social media star Pottery Boy.

Using a pottery wheel, Larry worked to shape the wet clay, only to spin the substance into a very phallic shape.

The effort caused his co-star Kylie Gillies to laugh and joke. ‘I can’t leave you alone for a minute!’

A visibly embarrassed Larry quickly squashed the clay down, trying to hide his mistake.

‘Today in pottery class I made my wife a vase. Thank @pottery.boy for your guidance, thank you @kyliegillies for your support’ Larry wrote in his caption.

‘Thank you @morningshowon7 for 15 wonderful years, thank you Australia for not cancelling me… Yet. I tried to make a vase but I think I cocked it up’ he added.

In December, Larry celebrated 28 years of marriage with his stunning wife Sylvie.

‘From the moment that sun comes up to the moment it goes down and every moment in between I adore you.’

‘The love and warmth and wisdom in those hypnotic magical blue eyes gets me through every day’ he continued.

‘I hope you let me kiss your cheek and smell your eyebrows like this for another 28 years’.

The pair tied the knot in 1995 and share two adult children together: Jye, 28, and Tia, 23.

In interview for The Sunday Telegraph’s Body+Soul, the couple revealed their secrets to a successful partnership.

The TV host explained the pair have a pact to create memories by doing something ‘crazy’ each year while they can.

‘We decided we need to do at least one completely crazy thing each year so that we’ll have some ridiculously good stories to remind each other about when we’re in the nursing home,’ he said.

The presenter also said he has never been one to start and argument or to engage in conflict.

‘I’d love to be one of those people who can puff their chest out and have a good solid argument but I’m just not. Once I screamed at our son and I ran off and threw up,’ he added.

Meanwhile, Sylvie revealed Larry’s positivity and optimistic attitude has mean their relationship hasn’t caused major problems.

‘You never know what you’re going to get with him but it’s always spontaneous and fun. We’re very lovey-dovey,’ she said.
