A man throwing a stack of $100 bills into the air on the Las Vegas strip has lead to a crowd of about 1,000 people brawling over the money.

Fights broke out between clubbers after the man started ‘making it rain’ money outside The Cromwell hotel about 4am Monday.

Police and ambulances responded in massive numbers to the chaotic scenes, but officers only made two arrests, Las Vegas Review Journal reported.

‘As you might expect, it caused quite the commotion,’ Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon said.

He added that officers had to be taken from other Metro area commands to help subdue the massive crowd.

Police directed traffic and kept Las Vegas Boulevard open despite the massive brawl, the website reported.

There were no injuries reported from the incident.

It was the second time in as many days that police were called to outside The Cromwell hotel, after it was evacuated early Sunday following reports of a shooting – that turned out to be false.

Dramatic video footage captured by DailyMail.com showed the moment chaos erupted inside the Cromwell casino after gun shots were reported just hours after the Mayweather vs McGregor super-fight.

Revelers who had traveled to Vegas to watch the boxing dived for cover, hiding under tables and behind chairs as panic spread across the casino floor.

Dozens of police officers, their guns drawn, descended on the hotel fearing an ‘active shooter’ scenario.

DailyMail.com understands that a brawl near to the entrance of the casino had broken out which led to heavy ornamental statues being knocked over – causing the loud noises which sparked the panic.
