Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t help but mock Arsenal right-back Cedric Soares for the way in which he headed the ball during Portugal’s training session on Tuesday morning.
The two Premier League stars were filmed knocking the ball around with the national team ahead of their crucial World Cup play-off clash with North Macedonia on Tuesday evening.
Cedric leaped into the air to head the ball during one of Portugal’s drills and Ronaldo was quick to mock his team-mate’s technique before bursting into laughter on the pitch.

Ronaldo – who is known for his incredible heading ability – playfully mocked his team-mate on Tuesday morning after he witnessed him challenge for a ball.
The pair were seen wearing Portugal’s mint green training kit as they took to the pitch for a final knock around before their World Cup qualifier against North Macedonia.

Both Ronaldo and Cedric were taking part in a game of rondo – which requires one group of players to keep possession and pass the ball around while a defender tries to dispossess them.
The ball came to Ronaldo and he headed it to Cedric – who also launched himself in the air to head the ball back. However, CR7 couldn’t help but laugh at his team-mate’s technique immediately after.
Ronaldo mimicked Cedric by jumping in the air with his arms stretched out wide and his legs curled up behind him. He then proceeded to laugh with several other members of the Portugal team.

Ronaldo urged fans to make their presence felt at Porto’s Dragao Stadium to help Portugal secure a place in this year’s World Cup finals in Qatar.
The 37-year-old also said Portugal must prevent North Macedonia from pulling off another upset after beating Italy 1-0 last week thanks to Aleksandar Trajkovski
‘I urge the fans. I want hell breaking loose at Dragao,’ Ronaldo said on Monday. ‘I went to bed last night thinking that I want the stadium to shut down the music for our national anthem.
‘Let the fans sing it a cappella to show our passion, our strength and union around the objective of reaching the World Cup. If our fans show up the way they can, we will win on Tuesday.’
