Laura Byrne left mortified as her husband Matty J commits a disgusting act at a friend’s house

Laura Byrne has admitted to being left mortified after an extremely embarrassing incident involving husband Matty Johnson.

Speaking with Brittany Hockley on the Life Uncut podcast, Laura, 38, detailed an unfortunate incident involving Matty, renovations and a toilet.

‘We went to a friends’ house who is renovating so this house is fully gutted right? Everything is still functioning, but they’ve gutted the walls. and the interiors and the floors because they’re doing a light, cosmetic reno,’ the Bachelor star said.  

‘So halfway through when we got there and Matt had just finished a burrito as we’ve arrived, and a coffee, and Matt’s coffee is a three shot latte.’

Laura then revealed that before too long nature began to take its course. 

‘We’ve been there for a while now and all of a sudden Matt goes: “I’m just gonna go to the toilet” so off he goes,’ she said.

‘He comes out and he is white as a f***ing ghost. Like completely white from the top down and I’m like what happened, and he goes: “I just assumed”‘.

‘And I was like: “you just assumed what?”, and he was like: “I just assumed the water was still on because there’s no portaloo here.”‘

‘He took a s**t in their toilet and it did not flush.’

Adding insult to injury, Brittany chimed in with, ‘I bet you it was huge. Like, burrito big.’ 

Continuing the disgusting tale of woe, Laura added that Matty was forced to email the builder to admit his error in judgement.

‘He took a s**t in their toilet and it did not flush,’ a mortified bachelor star revealed.

Adding insult to injury, Brittany Hockley chimed in with: ‘and I bet you it was huge. Like, burrito big.’

‘There is no water in the cistern, there is no water in the…I was like: “You just s**t into a dry toilet,’ she said.

‘He didn’t look, he just went and sat down and did it.’

Brittany chimed in again with some advice saying: ‘Put your hand in a bag like a dog s**t and pick it up.’

Continuing the disgusting tale of woe, Laura added that Matty was forced to email the builder to admit his error in judgement

‘What do you do? He covered it in toilet paper, patted it down and shut the lid and then emailed the builder and was like: “I am so deeply sorry”‘. 

Fans of the podcast were quick to offer suggestions on how to fix the unfortunate bathroom mishap. 

‘Old school flush,’ began one comment. ‘Just pour 2-3 litres (can use bottles or a bucket) straight and it’s done.’

‘Helps to grow up in a developing world where you had to manually put water in the toilet bowl to flush,’ added another.

‘Adding the toilet paper made it worse.’
