Laura Simpson puts on a leggy display in London

She has had a whirlwind month, being propelled into the limelight after enjoying a drunken night with Wayne Rooney while his pregnant wife Coleen enjoyed a family holiday with their children.

And Laura Simpson appeared to be reveling in the attention as she arrived at London’s Piccadilly station in a bright ensemble on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old party girl, whose evening with married father Wayne resulted in him being arrested for drink driving, turned heads in a leopard print mini skirt as she caught a train to Euston, days after Coleen was pictured without her wedding ring.

Last month Everton striker Rooney was ordered to undertake 100 hours unpaid work after being caught drink-driving.

Following a heavy night of drinking, the father-of-three was stopped as he drove to 29-year-old Laura Simpson’s car back to her house.

The former England captain had met the office worker in a bar in Wilmslow while pregnant wife Coleen was on holiday with their three children.

The duo were stopped by police at 2am over a faulty tail light, and when tested for alcohol he had 104mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, making him three times over the limit.

Appearing in court last month Rooney admitted to drink driving and was sentenced to community service.

In his statement he said: ‘I want publicly to apologise for my unforgivable lack of judgment in driving while over the legal limit. It was completely wrong.

‘I have already said sorry to my family, my manager and chairman and everyone at Everton FC. Now I want to apologise to all the fans and everyone else who has followed and supported me throughout my career.

Meanwhile Laura Simpson has spoken out about the night, telling a paper she ‘kissed and cuddled’ Rooney and would have had sex with him if they hadn’t have been stopped.

However she later backtracked and denied anything untoward had happened between the pair.

Laura then appeared on This Morning following the fateful night, adamantly denying claims she had ‘kissed and cuddled’ Wayne, or had done anything wrong.

She claimed: ‘If it was just a general person I don’t think it would be portrayed as this. If it was anyone else it wouldn’t be an issue.’

When asked if she regretted her actions, she then replied: ‘Regret is a bit of a strong word for a situation where I don’t really think I did anything wrong.’
