Lauren Bush Lauren is expecting her third child with her husband David, son of designer Ralph Lauren.
The 36-year-old, who is the granddaughter of late former President George H.W. Bush, shared the joyful news on Instagram on Sunday, along with an image of her ultrasound.
‘We are excited to welcome baby #3 due next Spring!’ she wrote. ‘It has been strange and wonderful to incubate new life during this truly surreal year. Morning sickness (more like all-day sickness) aside, it has been a major ray of hope in our lives as we look towards a brighter tomorrow in 2021! Sending [love] to all!’

The couple, who began dating in 2004, and tied the knot in September 2011 in Colorado, are already parents to sons, James, five, and Max, two, who was born just days after Lauren’s grandmother Barbara passed away.
David, 49, also shared the happy news on his Instagram account, posting a picture of his young sons playing in the snow and writing: ‘Big news… We are getting a brother or a sister next year!’
The news was met with a slew of congratulatory messages from commenters, including several members of the couple’s famous families.
Today host Jenna Bush Hager, who is Lauren’s cousin, shared her joy over the news, commenting: ‘So thrilled for you and your beautiful fam!’
Meanwhile, Lauren’s sister-in-law Sarahbeth, wife of Pierce Bush, wrote: ‘So excited!’
Saved by the Bell star Elizabeth Berkley Lauren – who is married to Ralph Lauren’s nephew Greg – also celebrated the happy news, commenting on Lauren’s post: ‘We can’t wait!’

The couple’s exciting news comes just three months after they marked their ninth anniversary, with Lauren posting a sweet Instagram tribute to her husband to celebrate the milestone.
‘Happy 9 year Anniversary to my one @davidlauren!’ she wrote.
‘If this pandemic has reinforced anything, it’s that I’m very lucky to get to do life with you through the good times and the tougher times. Here is to the next 90+ years together! Xo.’
David shared a similar sentiment in his own post, writing: ‘Lucky to have my one today and everyday…. 9 year anniversary!!’
Lauren, though her FEED Foundation, is currently working with Sarah Jessica Parker and her wine brand Invivo X to combat hunger by providing school means to more than 300,000 children internationally.
Lauren founded FEED in 2007 ‘after seeing the reality of childhood hunger firsthand while traveling with the World Food Program,’ according to her organization.
