Lauren Conrad reunites with ex Stephen Colletti and a handful of original Laguna Beach stars

She starred in a groundbreaking reality show which first aired on MTV more than 15 years ago.

And Lauren Conrad reunited with a handful of original stars from Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County at a party last weekend.

The 35-year-old fashion designer smiled as she cozied up to her ex, Stephen Colletti, and cast-members Trey Phillips, Dieter Schmitz, and Loren Polster.

Come clean: Lauren Conrad reunited with a handful of original stars from Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County at a party last weekend

Dieter, who at one point on the show was best friends with Stephen and Lauren, captioned a black-and-white photo: ‘Sure do love these peoples.’

Phillips was certainly feeling the love as he posted a massive group photo with the caption: ‘What a dream. Beach party to house party, there’s nothing better than bringing good people together.’

The groundbreaking series followed Lauren and her friends as they grew up in the affluent Southern California neighborhood, eventually tagging along with her to college in San Francisco before a spin-off was created about her new, grown-up life in Los Angeles, The Hills.

Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port were Lauren’s new confidants as she battled personal and professional issues on camera.

After a long and laborious fallout with best friend Heidi over her choice to pursue a relationship (and subsequent marriage) with Spencer Pratt, Conrad was finally replaced by Kristin Cavallari, a former foe on Laguna Beach.

Conrad’s last appearance on The Hills was at Spencer and Heidi’s wedding where she made amends with the couple after Spencer apologized for spreading rumors.

She told Whitney Port on her With Whit podcast that she practically ghosted the cast and crew after she quit filming The Hills in 2009.

‘I just kinda needed a clean break for a minute to kind of emotionally recover and took some time off, and then obviously moved out of LA,’ Conrad said.

Whitney mentioned that while she harbored no ill-will, she thought Conrad might have dropped her as a friend due to the abrupt departure.

‘And I apologize for that or making you feel that way, because obviously it had nothing to do with you personally,’ Conrad said. ‘I lived a certain way for so long and like as much as I am appreciative and I love you.

‘I love so many people we worked with like, You know, there is certain like toxic elements there and it’s really hard. And I was like, okay, I got to just like step away from this world and like kind of heal in a way and like who I want to be.

‘Because again, like we started so young and I was like, it’s such a time where you’re figuring out who you are. And I was like, I did it in such a weird way.’
